MeetCue is a local-first Chrome extension teleprompter. It is built to help you prepare, organize, and display scripts during meetings, classes, demos, presentations, and recordings while keeping your notes on your device.
What MeetCue Stores
MeetCue stores scripts, spaces, drafts, script titles, Markdown content, teleprompter preferences, overlay settings, and active session state locally in Chrome storage.
MeetCue does not require an account, does not provide cloud sync, and does not depend on a MeetCue server to prepare or read your scripts.
Imports and Backups
When you import a Markdown file, MeetCue reads that file to create an editable local script. When you export or import a backup, MeetCue uses the selected local file only to complete the backup or restore action you requested.
Data Sharing
MeetCue does not sell user data. MeetCue does not transfer your scripts, spaces, preferences, or backups to third parties. MeetCue does not use your data for advertising, creditworthiness, lending, or unrelated profiling.
Chrome Permissions
MeetCue requests Chrome permissions only to provide its teleprompter features. Storage is used for local scripts and preferences. Tab, active tab, scripting, and host permissions are used to open the floating teleprompter on supported browser tabs. Notifications are used for active-session and resume prompts.
MeetCue does not use these permissions to collect browsing history or page content for unrelated purposes.
Limited Use
The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
